burning as it were a lamp

Trying to appear to be "the light." As you can see, a great star fell from heaven, burning as it were a lamp. As you can see in Revelation 9:12 below, a star is an angel. The star in Revelation 9:12 fell to earth. In Revelation 8:10 the star was burning "as it were a lamp." 2 Corinthians 11:14 shows us that Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Satan's ministers will also be transformed into ministers of light.

Checking the Strong's definition of "transform" (below) the translation should have been transfigure or disguise.

So there you have it, the great star that fell (or is soon to fall) is Satan, the greatest of the angels that fell, and he will appear to be the light, this he will do in his guise of antichrist.

Revelation 8:10-11
10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;

11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
KJV

2 Corinthians 11:13-15
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves
into the apostles of Christ.

14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers
of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
KJV

Revelation 9:1-2
9 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.

2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
