Evangelical Christians
every one that is called by my name

I am getting really bothered about the current trend of the news calling Christians "Evangelicals." I know, it is only a name, but it still gets me. I have been trying to figure out what to do about it. As I see it, for the last few years we have been fighting the war on Christmas and during that time they managed to take Christ right out of our name! You may not agree with this following Bible verse, but I believe that it relates to Christ and it refers to His people: Isaiah 43:7 7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him. KJV Even if I am not exactly right about Christians being the subject of this verse, we are called by his name: Christian, according to Pastor Arnold Murray this means "Christ man" I am a Christ man and proud to be so called and I don't want anyone messing with it. I would like to have the media start calling us by our proper name CHRISTIANS. It is a simple matter of respect. Ed Wilson
