| There is mention of the Key of David
in three places in the KJV Bible:
Isaiah 22:22
And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall
open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.
Revelation 3:7
7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write;
These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of
David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
The Key of David is fairly simple but because of the teachings of most Churches
most people will reject the Key of David because it does not conform with modern
day Church doctrine.
There are two major parts to the Key of David, if you learn, understand
and believe them your reading of the Bible will be so much more meaningful that
you will wonder why you didn't "get it" before.
I am not saying that everything in the Bible will be easy to understand, you
still have to deal with customs and expressions of the day to fully understand
all of the Bible. But you will understand many verses and in some cases entire
chapters of the Bible that may have been confusing before.
I will get right to the point, here are the two subjects that you need to understand
(not just know, but understand), if you do reach understanding, you will have
the Key of David and the Bible will make much more sense:
- Kenites, the origin of and their activities throughout the Bible
- Three world ages, not three worlds, but three phases that the world is to
go through.
Again, these concepts are actually simple, but accepting them is yet another
story. Here is why:
We were all raised to believe that the world is about 6,000 years old. We were
also brought up to believe that the sin of the Garden of Eden was that Eve ate
an apple.
If you are ready to face the truth, you are ready to start understanding the
Key of David.
Any first year geology student and almost all rock collectors can tell you
that the geologic record is at least millions of years old! More like Billions
of years old. Is it any wonder that the Bible is not taken seriously when it indicates
that the world is only a few thousand years old.
Secondly, you can search the book of Genesis word by word for the rest of your
life and you will NOT find the mention of any APPLE within the texts. There was
no apple mentioned in the Garden of Eden story. But what happened then that changed
everything for Adam and Eve.
I am sorry, but to explain these events, it will take just a little time, it
is simple, but to introduce someone to the truth, I must explain a few other foundation
facts.
I believe it is important to identify who the "sons of God" were/are
and I need to prove that the sons of God (of the old Testament) are in fact fallen
angels. To prove this fact I will turn to the book of Job.
Job 1:6
Now there was a day when the sons of God came
to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came
also among them.
KJV
Job 2:1
Again there was a day when the sons of God
came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan
came also among them to present himself before the LORD.
KJV
These two verses show that both Satan and the sons of God appeared before God.
Satan being the greatest fallen angel and the sons of God other fallen angels.
Next, we need to understand that the fallen angels can procreate with human
women:
Genesis 6:2
That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and
they took them wives of all which they chose.
KJV
Genesis 6:4
There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons
of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them,
the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
KJV
Now that we know that the sons of God can procreate with human women (the daughters
of Adam) why would Satan not be able to do the same?
Now I need to identify Satan in the Garden of Eden, to this end I will quote
a verse from the book of Revelation
Revelation 12:9
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil,
and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth,
and his angels were cast out with him.
KJV
Revelation 20:2
And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and
Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
KJV
Now we understand that "old serpent" is one of the names of Satan.
Now let's go to the Garden of Eden, in the beginning of this earth age.
First I would like to discuss "trees" as described in the Genesis.
Genesis 1:12
And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and
the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind:
and God saw that it was good.
KJV
Genesis 2:9
And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to
the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst
of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
KJV
Genesis 2:17
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not
eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
KJV
| There are three types of trees mentioned here: |
|
1. |
Tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind |
|
2. |
Tree of life. |
|
3. |
Tree of the knowledge of good and evil |
OT:6086
`ets, ates;
from OT:6095; a tree (from its firmness); hence,
wood (plural sticks):
KJV - carpenter, gallows, helve, pine, plank, staff, stalk, stick, stock, timber,
tree, wood. |
OT:6095
`atsah, aw-tsaw';
a primitive root; properly, to fasten (or make firm), i.e. to close (the eyes):
KJV - shut. |
In Genesis 2:9 we have the tree of life, in Genesis 2:17 we have the tree of
the knowledge of good and evil. Just looking at these verses, does it seem to
you logically that the Lord is talking about a simple tree? How many trees can
give life, and how many trees know about good and evil?
These are symbols
Ezekiel 17:24
24 And all the trees of the field shall know that I the LORD have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I the LORD have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I the LORD have spoken and have done it.
KJV
Why would God bring down one tree, while exalting another tree. The subject here is men/people.
Ezekiel 31:3-5
3 Behold, the Assyrian was a cedar in Lebanon with fair branches, and with a shadowing shroud, and of an high stature; and his top was among the thick boughs.
The Assyrian was a cedar in Lebanon, again the subject is people.
4 The waters made him great, the deep set him up on high with her rivers running round about his plants, and sent out her little rivers unto all the trees of the field.
5 Therefore his height was exalted above all the trees of the field, and his boughs were multiplied, and his branches became long because of the multitude of waters, when he shot forth.
KJV
Ezekiel 31:9
9 I have made him fair by the multitude of his branches: so that all the trees of Eden, that were in the garden of God, envied him.
KJV
Ezekiel 31:14
14 To the end that none of all the trees by the waters exalt themselves for their height, neither shoot up their top among the thick boughs, neither their trees stand up in their height, all that drink water: for they are all delivered unto death, to the nether parts of the earth, in the midst of the children of men, with them that go down to the pit.
KJV
Ezekiel 31:16
16 I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to hell with them that descend into the pit: and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, shall be comforted in the nether parts of the earth.
KJV
When you look these verses over and see how the term trees is used, it becomes clear that God is not talking about actual trees, but the term "trees" is being used symbolically to refer to people.
