Well, having been interested in Ancient Hebrew this weekend, I was thinking about the "mark" mentioned in Ezekiel 9:44 and the Ancient Hebrew letter "Tov". Pastor Arnold Muray points this out in his Ezekiel teaching, but it is even cooler to see it for yourself. I decided to make a little paper about it since I have all the materials right here in front of me. I thought you would like to see it as well. The word "mark" as used in Ezekiel is, in Hebrew, TOV which is a cross. Isn't that too cool? Ezekiel 9:4 4And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof. KJV
Pasotr Arnold Murray tells us that this marking from Ezekiel 9:44 is still going on in Revleation 7:2-3. Revelation 7:2-3 3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. |
