It is frequently found combined with lahen (therefore), laken (so, thus, therefore), lamah (why?). When it is joined with substantives and or adjectives, it sometimes can be translated as an adverb, e. g. lesheqer (falsely), letsedeq (fairly). Sometimes it is equivalent to the direct object marker (see OT:853). It can be combined with a wide variety of pronominal suffixes. |
