These are just raw notes.

How the Kenites survived being exterminated by the Israelites and further were accepted into the Israeli community (as servants of the house of the Lord).
There were six tribes of Kenites in the land of Canaan that once they learned that the Israelites were coming to take the land, they disguised themselves as travelers and made an alliance with the leaders of the tribes of Israel.

The Gibeonites and all the tribes mentioned above inhabited these four cities in the land of Canaanon: Gibeon, and Chephirah, and Beeroth, and Kirjathjearim.

In the verses below, we see that Joshua made the Gibeonites servents to the congregation and the alter of the LORD.

Joshua 9:26-27
9:26 And so did he unto them, and delivered them out of the hand of the children of Israel, that they slew them not.
9:27 And Joshua made them that day hewers of wood and drawers of water for the congregation, and for the altar of the LORD, even unto this day, in the place which he should choose.

In the verses below, we see that Joshua made the Gibeonites servents to the congregation and the alter of the LORD.

1 Kings 9:20-21
9:20 And all the people that were left of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites, which were not of the children of Israel,
9:21 Their children that were left after them in the land, whom the children of Israel also were not able utterly to destroy, upon those did Solomon levy a tribute of bondservice unto this day.

007:063    And of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Koz, the children of Barzillai, which took one of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite to wife, and was called after their name.
007:064    These sought their register among those that were reckoned by genealogy, but it was not found: therefore were they, as polluted, put from the priesthood.
